Position Overview :
Reporting to the U.S. Chief Operating Officer, the Assistant Vice President, Operational Strategy , will partner closely with business and technology leadership to develop, align, and execute strategic plans and initiatives in the US, with a focus on process excellence, data and analytics, and customer-centricity.
Responsibilities :
- Act as a thought partner of the U.S. Chief Operating Officer, developing and implementing operational excellence strategies.
- Direct projects on behalf of the business, working with business leaders, key stakeholders, and various support functions to implement new technology and / or business solutions.
- Drive collaboration between IT, Operations, Underwriting, and Data & Analytics to align and execute strategic priorities.
- Responsible for partnering with the business users to understand processes and underlying informative and / or process automation needs.
- Ensure effective planning, prioritization, and return on investment of technology initiatives and process improvement opportunities.
- Drive a continuous improvement culture by leading short and long-term efforts to improve efficiency and leverage data-driven insights.
- Act as a problem solver and decision maker for system implementation projects and be accountable for performance improvement.
- Responsible for identifying potential issues or roadblocks that are trending with key stakeholders.

Compensation :
Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, and skills. The base pay is just one component of Ascot's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation awarded by the Company. The annualized base pay range for this role is : $140,000 - $160,000 for the New York Metro Area
