Job Summary
As part of Ascot’s Information Technology team, the Senior AI Data Program Manager will join the Ascot AI team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing, curating and analyzing data to support our advanced artificial intelligence projects. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to impactful solutions.
Responsibilities
Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, and skills. The base pay is just one component of Ascot’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus, long-term incentives, and other forms of discretionary compensation awarded by the Company.
The salary for this position in New York Metro is $165,000 - $185,000.

Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Manage, collect, understand, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources.
- Oversee development and maintain data pipelines to ensure a seamless flow of data.
- Collaborate with data scientists and business to understand data requirements, data lineage and trust worthiness
- Implement data validation and quality control measures to ensure data accuracy and reliability and ensure models are running on current, clean trusted data
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, processes, and methodologies.
- Analyze data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that will inform AI model development and optimization.
- Work closely with the AI team to design and implement data-driven solutions and strategies.
- Assist with additional ad hoc projects as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of insurance industry experience or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in data management, analysis, and processing.
- Deep domain knowledge of insurance data and data management
- Understanding and desire to learn programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistical methods.
- Knowledge around machine learning frameworks and libraries preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and processing platforms preferred.
- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Databricks preferred.
- Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts and applications preferred.
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong collaborative skills in a fast-paced team-centric environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
