Job Summary
The Senior Data & Underwriting Support Analyst will work independently within the Reinsurance Operations team to provide reports and analysis that will allow the team to better manage the day-to-day workflow. This position will also provide operational support to the Property Facultative Reinsurance team, while collaborating with the underwriters on special projects as needed. The candidate must be reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced team-centric environment. This role will be in the office with a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities
- Accountable for various data analysis responsibilities with a focus on data quality to correct errors and track team accuracy rates.
- Compile and prepare data into requested monthly report formats to track broker results/KPI’s and to monitor Automatic premium for management review.
- Assist the Property Facultative Reinsurance team on processing during busy times and work with the outsourcing team to ensure dead accounts are processed correctly.
- Provide weekly reports to the Property Facultative underwriters and provide quality assurance
- Generate weekly reports to ensure teams are processing data according to SLA requirements
- Monitor exceptions for the group and work with team members to close out issues
- Assist with the Property AI initiative
- Assist with additional ad hoc projects, IT testing, and Credit Control tasks as required.

- 2 – 5 years’ experience in a related insurance field.
- Basic knowledge of insurance company operations and general property underwriting a plus.
- High School degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Must be positive, self-motivated, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and verifying data, maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Highly customer-centric both internally and externally.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong collaborative skills in a fast-paced team-centric environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products. Must have strong Excel skills with the ability to sort data, create pivot tables, and produce reports.
