Job Summary:
Ascot is seeking a Statistical Reporting Analyst to join the Reporting, Quality & Control Team in supporting the company’s Statistical Reporting requirements. The Statistical Reporting Analyst will report our Commercial Lines data to our Stat Agent, Independent Statistical Service (ISS), as well as to Insurance Services Office (ISO) and other State Bureaus. The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the insurance industry and be a creative problem-solver with skill for navigating systems and an eye for detail.
- Responsible for the management of workflow of Commercial Lines Statistical Reporting.
- Gain a strong understanding of business processes by leveraging standardized workflows and compliance guidelines.
- Communicate with internal and external partners to collect and reconcile data.
- Test systems to locate possible errors, conduct root cause analysis, and provide recommendations.
- Conduct data analysis and manipulation.
- Identify areas for improvement and create and implement solutions when needed.
- Provides support to other areas within the Reporting, Quality & Control group.
- Ensure all work is processed accurately and according to Service Level Agreements.
- Provide other ad hoc reports and other data-related requirements as requested.
- Some US travel may be needed.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the insurance industry.
- Knowledge of Statistical Reporting is required
- Workers’ Compensation and/or Financial Data Calls knowledge is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required
- Demonstrates effective verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- Provides service excellence to internal and external partners, delivering an experience that exceeds the customer’s expectations.

- Strong time management, organizational and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Some level of programming knowledge is preferred (e.g. Python, SQL, R, DAX/Power BI, etc.)
The salary for this position is $65,000-$80,000
