The Geoff Hill Lab, in Fred Hutch's Translational Science & Therapeutics Division, is recruiting a Scientist / Senior Scientist with expertise in transplant immunology and / or immunotherapy. The candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to multiple NIH funded research programs, including studies defining the mechanisms of cancer-specific immunity versus immune escape and pathogen-specific immunity after adoptive cell therapy. There are also active programs defining mechanisms of, and innovative treatment paradigms for immune toxicity (e.g. graft-versus-host disease and cytokine release syndrome) after stem cell transplantation and adoptive T cell therapy.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this highly-skilled laboratory scientist will include :
- Designing, performing and analyzing experiments.
- Troubleshooting technical issues.
- Mentoring junior lab members.
- Contributing to the preparation of manuscripts and grant proposals.
- Overseeing large programs that include collaborating laboratories.

The annual base salary range for the Senior Staff Scientist is from $94,033 to $212,030 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
The annual base salary range for the Staff Scientist position is from $82,123 to $185,000 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
