ASD Electrical Technician
Preferred Qualifications:
· Significant experience in a technical discipline preferably with a Electro Mechanical PLC Technician Certification
· 3 years of experience electrical/mechanical troubleshooting at the component level
· 3 years of experience working on industrial assembly machines.
· Experience with VOM with the ability to understand the results, and troubleshoot components, (proximity switch, limit switch, PLC input/output level)
· Blue Print reading required.
· Intermediate PLC skills, troubleshooting using PLC, ladder logic, machine electrical prints, very little or no PLC programming required, only ability to use the PLC as a tool to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
· Preferred Strong mechanical skills, such as understanding hydraulics and pneumatics, not only theory, but real, hands-on experience
· Ability to measure in inches and millimeters with tape measures, scales, micrometers and calipers
