Profile :

ASEI Engineering is currently seeking an Electrical Designer to join our talented team in Houston, TX. This position will manage their own projects and perform electrical design services for a wide variety of projects including but not limited to commercial, educational, multi-family, and light industrial projects.

Duties :

  • Create Electrical designs in AutoCAD and / or Revit software
  • Work directly with clients to determine overall project needs and design, while utilizing in-house Professional Engineer for support and quality control
  • Effectively manage electrical design projects through clear, consistent communication to meet client needs, project schedules, and budget expectations
  • Build long term customer relationships with existing and potential clients through world-class customer service
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and flexibility by supporting your peers as needed and participating in company sponsored training and events

Requirements :

  • Proficient knowledge in AutoCAD and Revit (preferred).
  • Excellent working knowledge of electrical design in the realm of commercial, educational, multi-family, and light industrial projects
  • Experience with Visual lighting software or related software
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently
  • Self-motivated, reliable individual that thrives on doing a job well
  • Demonstrate independence, initiative, and desire to achieve results
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience in maintaining long-term client relationships
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people through oral and written communications
  • Passion to provide our clients a world-class experience on every interaction for every project, every time

    • Education & Experience :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2 years’ experience in electrical design / drafting required
  • Fully proficient in AutoCAD and / or Revit (preferred)
  • Experience with Visual lighting software or related software
  • Experience with MS Office products
  • AA in Computer Aided Drafting, or BS in Engineering preferred
