Job Summary:
The GPO Operations Manager plays a critical role in supporting the operational processes related to chargebacks, membership management, and compliance within Asembia. This position will be integral in ensuring that all contract terms, pricing structures, and member obligations are met and that any issues related to pricing and chargebacks are resolved efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and experience with contract management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer and Vendor Communication:
Effectively communicate with internal teams, pharmacies, wholesalers, and specialty distributors to ensure accurate pricing, discounting, and timely resolution of customer issues. - Contract Compliance:
Monitor and enforce contract requirements to ensure that member pharmacies and Asembia remain compliant with terms, conditions, and applicable government regulations. - Contract Maintenance:
Work with manufacturers and wholesalers to maintain accurate contract parameters, including membership details, product specifications, pricing, performance tiers, and incentive structures. - Chargeback Management:
Oversee the accurate and timely resolution of all chargeback issues, ensuring all claims are processed efficiently and in compliance with contract obligations. - Operational Process Optimization:
Proactively review, analyze, and refine standard operating procedures for chargeback claim processing to ensure pharmacies have access to contract pricing and all obligations are met. - Reporting & Analysis:
Develop detailed reports and analysis to track key metrics such as reconciliation issues, volume, accrual needs, and potential future rebates or fees. Provide actionable recommendations based on data insights to department leadership.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field. - Experience:
2 years of experience in GPO operations, contract management, chargeback processing, or a related area. - Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables, formulas, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
