Asembia is looking for associates dedicated to providing outstanding patient service and support to work with us in our URAC accredited call center.

If you have the ability provide high levels of customer service we can provide training in all other aspects of the position.
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will:
- Complete the prescription intake process including verifying insurance coverage for patients.
- Assist Physician’s offices through the prior authorization and appeals process.
- Research financial assistance options for patients through copay cards, foundations and assistance programs.
- Coordinate prescription processing and delivery with dispensing pharmacies.
- Provide timely updates to Physicians, Pharmacies and manufacturers regarding prescription status.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Proficiency in MS Office Programs including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Previous customer service experience
- Capacity to maintain confidentiality as per HIPAA regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to become registered as a Pharmacy Technician in accordance with NJ Board of Pharmacy regulations.
Desired Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree
- Previous call center experience
- Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
