Monday-Friday, 9 am - 5 pm (occasional Saturdays may be required; closed on Sundays)
Starting Pay $14.00 per hour (negotiable based on experience)

Join the dynamic team at Affordable Storage Guys, a rapidly expanding self-storage company with 40 facilities across Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Florida. As a Customer Service Agent, you'll play a vital role in our diverse operations team. We're seeking passionate professions with excellent communication to oversee the day-to-day operations of our self-storage call center.
Job Description:
Your Role:
- Manage daily call center communication within the district.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with rental processes and agreements.
- Build strong customer relationships, understanding their storage needs and offering innovative solutions.
- Assist with hitting sales targets through unit rentals and insurance.
- Assist with facility front desk coverage at times which may include managing cash handling and pursuing collections.
- Demonstrate technical proficiency through familiarity with our call center software.
- Demonstrate resilience by staying calm and professional in stressful or repetitive situations with customers.
- Prioritize creating positive experiences for our customers.
- Collaborate with team members across various locations for collective success.
- Manage processes efficiently to ensure work assignments are completed.
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and texts promptly.
Your Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of customer-facing experience, showcasing exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in a call center environment.
- Proficient in computer systems with a minimum typing speed of 35 WPM.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; college education preferred.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking.
- Strong manual dexterity and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working seated at a desk or standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with the local community and services.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Ability to provide three professional references.
