Job Title: Housekeeper
Location: KOA Holiday Bowling Green, KYJob Type: Part-Time/As Needed Position (Hours vary weekly. Up to 15 hours/wk)
Overview:
As a Housekeeping team member, you play a key role in ensuring our campground remains clean, comfortable, and welcoming for all guests. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will help create a positive and memorable experience for visitors. Responsibilities:Cleaning & Maintenance:
- Perform daily, weekly, and seasonal cleaning of cabins, bathhouses, laundry facilities, and common areas.
- Ensure cabins are properly cleaned and prepared for guest arrivals and departures.
- Complete deep cleaning of cabins during the off-season to prepare for peak visitor times.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the Conference Center, especially after events.
- Collect and dispose of garbage from individual cabin sites and common areas.
Laundry & Supplies:
- Prepare laundry for pick-up services, including putting dirty linens in bags to be picked-up and bagging clean linens in packages for kabins.
- Put clean bedding on deluxe cabins beds.
- Stock deluxe cabin bathrooms with towels.
- Monitor and report cleaning supply levels, requesting restocks as needed.
Safety & Reporting:
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and follow all proper handling procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate staff.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and wear protective gear as necessary.
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet for extended periods.
- Friendly demeanor and strong customer service skills.
