One of ASG Pharmacy's current clients in Newark, DE is currently seeking Pharmacy Cashiers. Whether you are experienced in customer service or looking to start a career in pharmacy, this position is for you! These are full-time positions that will entail working in a compounding pharmacy setting. If you are a friendly, detail-oriented professional looking for an opportunity to make an impact in patients' lives, this is an opportunity for you.

Environment : Compounding pharmacy; front desk and customer service role

Schedule :

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday, between 8 : 30am and 6pm (varying shifts within this time)
  • Closed on major holidays
  • Limited hours on Saturday (availability appreciated but not required)

Pay Range : $17 / hr

Pharmacy Cashier Description :

  • Handling front desk responsibilities and customer interactions
  • Taking phone calls and assisting walk-in customers
  • Reviewing medications with customers as needed and involving pharmacists when necessary
  • Must be comfortable multi-tasking (e.g., handling tasks while the phone is ringing, prioritizing attention as needed)

    • Pharmacy Cashier Qualifications :

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Willingness and ability to learn (pharmacy experience not required)
  • Commitment to long-term employment (training can take up to a year)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team player
  • Self-starter with initiative
  • Friendly and detail-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
