Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry and handle inbound calls, including prescription processing, copay information, and addressing patient requests.
- Make outbound calls to patients and doctors as necessary.
- Handle patient calls with empathy, providing guidance and support regarding their prescriptions and any necessary changes.
- Process payments and assist with other administrative tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Rotate through various duties based on the department's needs (schedule rotations known 3 weeks in advance).
- Adapt to a dynamic work environment with changing priorities.
Job Requirements:
- WA State Pharmacy Technician license required.
- Prior experience in a call center, data entry, and patient-oriented roles is preferred.
- Must be comfortable with rotating schedules and adapting to different job duties.
- Strong verbal communication skills are a must.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Schedule:
- Rotating shifts: 7 AM - 7 PM (Mon-Fri), 8 AM - 4 PM (Sat)
- 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts.
- No Sundays, but rotating schedule will be set 3 weeks in advance.
Compensation:
- $20.50/hour for state-licensed technicians.
- $22.50/hour for certified technicians.
Work Environment:
- Mail-order pharmacy environment (no walk-ins).
- Will work closely with doctors, patients, and other pharmacy professionals.
