Ready to take a step into building, cutting and grooving metal structures? Look no further! Check out this amazing temp-to-hire opportunity with an industry leader in the distributor of water, wastewater, storm drainage and fire protection products located in Eastside Indianapolis.

Fabricator Job Responsibilities :

  • Seal / paint and unload steel pipe from tables
  • Stack steel pipe and band it as needed
  • Cut and groove steel pipe
  • Use forklift to stage steel pipe in proper location
  • Work with other team members and perform other tasks as needed to produce and assemble components

Pay : $18-$19 / hr.

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 2 : 30PM - 11 : 00PM

Fabricator Qualifications :

  • Ability to understand blueprints, diagrams and technical manuals
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
  • Knowledge of basic machinery
  • Ability to lift tools and components as needed
  • Ability to manipulate and assemble large and small components
  • Note : Must wear long pants and steel toe boots at all times. Safety glasses, hard hats, and cut resistant gloves will be provided.
