Mechanical Assembler

Looking for a fun and challenging assembler position with a leading equipment manufacturer? This could be for you! Our client is looking for a responsible Mechanical Assembler who can work on a variety of finished products in the air blast equipment space. This person is familiar with utilizing blueprints, schematics, and written process procedures.

Job Responsibilities :

Assemble various sub-assemblies, reclaimers, dust collectors, and shot blasting equipment using written procedures, drawings, and simple hand and power tools as needed.
Examine and test subassemblies and final goods.
Notify supervisor of any shortages of materials and documentation errors
Preserve a tidy and safe workspace

Qualifications :

High school education or equivalent is required; trade school with electrical and mechanical training is strongly preferred.

Minimum of two years’ experience in a manufacturing / assembly environment.

Must own commonly used hand tools and measuring devices.

Essential Skills and Experience :

Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.

Ability to follow methods and procedures.

Must be able to work independently as needed.

Proficiency using hand, power, and measuring tools.

Knowledge of electrical assemblies.

Strong attention to detail and quality oriented.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule : Monday-Thursday 6AM-4 : 30PM / Friday 6AM-10AM

Occasional Weekends as necessary (Saturday 6AM-12PM)

Location : NE Indianapolis

Pay Range : $22-$24 / hr.
