What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant Operator position at Asgard?
Overview
Asgard Resources is a rapidly growing sand processing company located in rural North Dakota looking for the right person to add to our team. Asgard is a leading provider of frac sand in North Dakota and has been operating since 2019.
Asgard is seeking plant operators to maintain and operate a sand washing and sizing plant and a dryer. This job will also include operating heavy equipment at times. Successful applicants will be trained on the specific equipment utilized at the facility.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and adjust machines and conveyors to maintain flow and quality of sand
- Perform emergency and routine maintenance on plant equipment
- Assist with various construction projects
- Perform assignments outlined by supervision
- Work safely
- Willingness to learn new skills
Qualification
- Previous mechanical or operating experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to perform simple math calculation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and climb ladders/stairs
- Ability to workdays or nights, 12 hr. shifts and OT is required
- Ability to work independently or with a partner
