Finishing Associate/Sandblaster

At ASGCO we provide customers with products that require various finishing processes to meet various applications. The Finishing Associate will be responsible for ensuring all products meet those required finishes and standards.

Responsibilities
- Must be versed in the following areas, Sand Blasting, Powder Coating, Metalizing Spray coating, Painting using Polyurethane, Epoxy and Primers.
- Must be able to work in a fabrication shop using sandblast equipment and touch up by grinding irregularities on parts.
- Must be able to follow Written and verbal instruction
- Must wear appropriate safety and protective equipment
- Monitor supplies and let management know when we are running low
- Make repairs and replace equipment components
- Have a working knowledge of hand power tools such as drills, saws, grinders, sanders etc.
- Must have 2 yrs. experience painting/sandblasting in a fabrication environment.
- Must be able to read a tape measure and interpret drawings and work orders.
- Strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Have the ability to lift 50lbs to 100lbs, bending, kneeling, reaching and standing for long periods of time, significant fine finger dexterity.
- Frequently exposed to regulated noise, Hot & Cold working conditions also exposed to various odors within acceptable limits.
- May be required to work overtime on needed bases.
