The Ashburnham Westminster Regional School District is seeking a Special Education Teacher.This position is based in the Learning Center. The Learning Center supports students in the general education setting and in the learning center itself. Staff reinforce the organization and study skills that students are developing and assist with curriculum explanations and models. Teachers also provide small group assistance or co-teach in classrooms, ensuring that students have access to the general education through curriculum modifications when needed and implementation of IEP accommodations. This requires the ability to work with a diverse team of educators. All Special Education Teachers chair there own annual reviews and oversee the entire IEP process.
