What are the responsibilities and job description for the JROTC Instructor position at Ashe County Schools?
Ashe County School District is seeking to hire a JROTC Instructor for Ashe County High School.
- Available beginning with the 2023-2024 school year this position is full-time, with 11-month term of employment
- Applicants must hold or be eligible to hold a North Carolina Professional Educator License as a JROTC Instructor
- Must be certified or in the process of certification as a JROTC Instructor by the US Army Cadet Command
- Must be retired from the Army no longer than 5 years prior to employment in this position or transitioning from another school district as a certified JROTC Instructor

- Waiver possible for interested applicants who retired from the Army and meet all requirements of ACS and US Army Cadet Command.
- Prefer experience or knowledge in JROTC subjects
