Hours : First Shift, Monday - Friday | No Supervisory Responsibilities | No Travel | Pay commensurate with experience
Full Time, day shift position in Mountain Family Care Center. Eligible for a $10,000 commitment bonus.
JOB SUMMARY :
Provide general and preventative care, conduct check-ups, treat illnesses, order lab tests and prescribe medication for children and adults.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program.
Experience : Previous experience rural health experience preferred.
License / Certifications :
- Certified with National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Initial Certification and meet the regulations of NC Board of Medical Examiners, OR Nurse Practitioner meeting regulations of North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS Certification.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Must be willing to receive all required vaccinations (i.e., flu shot, etc.).
