Job Description :
- Work on a medical-surgical unit with patient ratios of 1 : 6.
- Night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with the option to sign for either 36 or 48 hours per week.
- No floating requirement, though you may work as a sitter or monitor tech if needed.
- Weekend work required every other weekend, consisting of two shifts plus one day of on-site training with an educator.
- Utilize unit systems including Meditech for documentation, SBAR for communication, and Omnicell for medication management.
- Self-scheduling is available for more flexibility.
- Unit orientation consists of two shifts plus one day of on-site training.
- Navy scrubs are required.
- Adhere to health policies, including a mandatory flu vaccine with exceptions for medical or religious reasons.
- Be prepared to provide references from managers or supervisors within the past 12 months.
- Complete 8-10 hours of non-billable modules for acute care roles, which must be completed before the start and annually.
