We are an upscale salon located in the heart of the village in La Jolla, CA. We just opened our second La Jolla location and are looking to build not just any team, but THE BEST team. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of hair services, including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments. Schedule, pricing, service preference, and service timing is totally flexible and customizable per stylist
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional customer service.
- Take responsibility for following up with new clients to ensure they're happy with their service and to encourage referrals by building strong relationships with clients.
- Promote your services via social media and engage with potential clients to grow your clientele. (we can/will help you with this)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in your workspace, following salon policies and procedures.
- Work in collaboration with a team of talented professionals to foster a positive and supportive atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Valid California Cosmetology License.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a desire to succeed as an independent stylist.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing education and training to stay current with trends and techniques.
Preferred (but not required):
- Established clientele and/or experience/time behind the chair (we can help build your clientele and also offer set booth rental for those with full clientele)
- Experience with social media marketing.
- Interest in continuing education and developing business skills.
