Job Description
We have an immediate opening for a junior associate attorney who is an active bar member. Immigration experience is preferred, but is not required for this position.
The ideal candidate thrives in a challenging and fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines; demonstrates strong analytical abilities required to accurately articulate the critical issues of complex cases; possesses superior and creative legal research and writing skills; exhibits computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office; works in a supportive, professional manner with other attorneys, support staff, and clients; communicates well in the office and in the courtroom; and is self-sufficient enough to complete tasks without supervision.
The position will be involved in a wide variety of areas of immigration law, including but not limited to all non-immigrant visas, asylum, transactional work, consular processing, representing clients before USCIS interviews and EOIR / district court / circuit court hearings, post-conviction relief, and all federal litigation and appellate work. Although not required, fluency in another language is a plus.
Salary is negotiable and depends on experience.
