Summary of Position

The Crisis Ministry Healthy Opportunities Food Navigator – Onboarding and Invoicing Specialist plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and holistic support to clients, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and efficiency. This position is responsible for monitoring and managing referrals through the UniteUS software platform, onboarding new clients, coordinating and scheduling service deliveries, and confirming receipt to maintain high client satisfaction. Additionally, the role involves invoicing for services, preparing food boxes when needed, and connecting clients with additional resources to enhance their overall health and well-being. As a member of the Crisis Ministry team, this position also provides cross-functional support, stepping in as needed to uphold the Ministry's mission and ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, empathetic, and committed to improving the lives of those they serve.

Desired Qualifications

Experience working in food and nutrition, especially in a ministry setting is preferred. This position will work in four areas: eligibility determination, inventory and safety measures, distribution of food resources, and data management with monthly reporting. Must have good customer service skills to work with volunteers and clients to enroll clients and recruit clients. Must have good organizational skills to work beside volunteers to equip them with skills to provide nutritional food boxes and meal plans for healthy nutrition. Must have good office skills to provide informational materials on referrals to other food resources, meal planning, nutritional guides, and navigational materials. Experience working with volunteers plus collaborating with other community resources is essential. Data entry skills with different databases is required for tracking services and monthly reporting.

Responsibilities

· Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely, compassionate, and professional communication throughout the service process.

· Referral Management: Monitor and accept new referrals from the UniteUS software platform, maintaining accurate records and prioritizing client needs.

· Onboarding: Guide new clients through the onboarding process, including gathering necessary information, explaining services, and addressing initial questions or concerns.

· Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule client service deliveries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to meet client expectations.

· Delivery Follow-Up: Confirm receipt of deliveries with clients and address any issues promptly to maintain high service satisfaction.

· Billing & Invoicing: Prepare and manage invoices for services rendered, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.

· Data Management: Maintain organized records in UniteUS and other systems, tracking client progress and service history.

· Resource Coordination: Connect clients with additional services and resources to enhance their overall health and well-being.

· Food Box Preparation: When needed, assist with packing and organizing food boxes for delivery, ensuring nutritional and dietary needs are met.

· Cross-Functional Support: Step in to support other areas of the Crisis Ministry as needed, maintaining a team-oriented and adaptable approach.

· Service Improvement: Actively seek client feedback to improve processes and enhance service quality.

· Health Promotion: Advocate for clients' well-being by linking them to services that address their social, physical, and mental health needs.

Hourly – Full-time: 40 hours per week
