Job Summary and Qualifications

In this role, you will :

  • Interrogate, interpret, and reprogram cardiac devices with minimal supervision from physicians.
  • Troubleshoot critical device issues and take immediate resolution steps.
  • Collaborate with physicians regarding device status and document findings accurately in EMR.
  • Ensure accurate capture of charges for device interrogations.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and manage communication with patients.
  • Qualifications for this role include :

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant science field is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in analyzing and reprogramming cardiac pacemakers and AICDs, or a current, unrevoked certification in Cardiac Device Technology from an accredited program.
  • Experience with reviewing and managing remote device transmissions is necessary.
  • A background as a Cardiovascular Technologist or Registered Cardiac Sonographer is beneficial.
