Asheville Detox Center is looking for cooks to join our kitchen! We are currently seeking the right individual to cook beautiful, clean and delicious meals in a therapeutic environment. Applicants should have a strong background in food service, be creative, and self-motivated. As a cook, you will play a crucial role in providing nutritious and balanced meals to our clients, contributing to their overall well-being during their recovery journey.

About us: Asheville Detox is one of the only specialized detox facilities in the area. Individuals can rest assured that they are in good hands when they choose Asheville Detox for their detox and addiction treatment needs. Our facility offers comprehensive care services, including medical detox, medication-assisted treatment, and Aftercare Preparation. Our mission is to provide an effective, necessary service within a serene environment.

Job Duties:

• Prepare food for service and facilitate food daily schedule of Asheville Detox Center.
• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely manner
• Property disposes of all food wastes..
• Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere strictly to confidentiality requirements.
• Adhere to established standards of hygiene and universal infection control procedures in handling all samples and supplies.

• Knowledge of weights, measurements, volume and cooking procedures

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

• High school or equivalent
• Cooking experience: 1-2 years (Preferred)
