At Asheville Non-Surgical Orthopedics, a leading regenerative medicine clinic in Asheville, NC, we specialize in whole-body wellness and are seeking a compassionate, organized, and self-motivated Patient Care Coordinator to join our team.

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our family. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience by managing administrative tasks, coordinating patient care, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires an understanding of medical terminology and experience as a patient care coordinator / front desk staff

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage front desk operations, including opening and closing the office.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, manage faxes and correspondence in a professional manner.
  • Appointment scheduling, patient check-ins/check-outs, payment collection, ordering MRIs, processing prescriptions, and following up with patients, etc.
  • Order office supplies to keep the clinic running smoothly
  • Greet patients with warmth and professionalism, ensuring they feel supported
  • Maintain accurate patient charts and process documents efficiently
  • Assist physicians with procedures or treatments as needed
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information regarding services and procedures.
  • Ensure the office environment is welcoming and organized, contributing to a positive patient experience
  • Collaborate with the team on how we can improve processes, and create a better patients expereince.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Excellent communication skills and a cheerful, dependable attitude
  • Comfort working efficiently in a dynamic, sometimes challenging environment
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks
  • Basic familiarity with regenerative medicine (e.g., stem cell therapy, PRP, or holistic wellness) (STRONGLY PREFERRED but not required)
  • Basic medical training or patient care experience (preferred but not required)
  • Knowledge of Tebra (Kareo) EHR software (preferred)
  • Phlebotomy certification (PREFERRED)
  • Experience in a medical office or reception role (REQUIRED)

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology is essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in administrative support tasks, including scheduling, record keeping, and customer service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated and eager to solve problems on your own when problems arrise.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • Familiarity with healthcare software systems is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
