We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our family. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience by managing administrative tasks, coordinating patient care, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires an understanding of medical terminology and experience as a patient care coordinator / front desk staff
What You’ll Do:
- Manage front desk operations, including opening and closing the office.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, manage faxes and correspondence in a professional manner.
- Appointment scheduling, patient check-ins/check-outs, payment collection, ordering MRIs, processing prescriptions, and following up with patients, etc.
- Order office supplies to keep the clinic running smoothly
- Greet patients with warmth and professionalism, ensuring they feel supported
- Maintain accurate patient charts and process documents efficiently
- Assist physicians with procedures or treatments as needed
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information regarding services and procedures.
- Ensure the office environment is welcoming and organized, contributing to a positive patient experience
- Collaborate with the team on how we can improve processes, and create a better patients expereince.
What We’re Looking For:
- Excellent communication skills and a cheerful, dependable attitude
- Comfort working efficiently in a dynamic, sometimes challenging environment
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks
- Basic familiarity with regenerative medicine (e.g., stem cell therapy, PRP, or holistic wellness) (STRONGLY PREFERRED but not required)
- Basic medical training or patient care experience (preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of Tebra (Kareo) EHR software (preferred)
- Phlebotomy certification (PREFERRED)
- Experience in a medical office or reception role (REQUIRED)
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in administrative support tasks, including scheduling, record keeping, and customer service.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated and eager to solve problems on your own when problems arrise.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Familiarity with healthcare software systems is a plus.
