What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Facilitator position at Asheville Recovery Center?
JOB SUMMARY:
As a group facilitator, you will provide therapy in a group setting to our clients and
be an important part of their wellness journey. You will use evidence-based
modalities and your clinical experience to help our clients manage their recovery,
while being on a team with other caring professionals who share the same mission.
List of duties/responsibilities:
- Conduct evidence-based group sessions for clients
- Help guide and direct clients during group sessions
- Prepare both group and individual notes
- Collaborate with treatment team to ensure quality client care
Requirements:
- Experience and passion working with clients struggling with substance
abuse
- Licensed or Certified with the state (LADC, LMSW, LPC, CADC or Masters in
related field)
