What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activities Assistant position at Ashford Assisted Living?
We are looking for someone who has a fun and energetic personality to join our activities team! This is a part time position during the week and includes one Saturday every four weeks.
Duties include:
- Playing games, making crafts, and doing simple exercises with residents.
- Building friendships and providing companionship to elderly.
- Inviting residents to attend activities and accompanying them to the activity.
- Helping to create and plan activities with the resident needs in mind.
Candidates must be able to:
- Multitask and quickly problem-solve.
- Work efficiently and be on time.
- Take direction and stay on task.
- Communicate well with coworkers and residents.
- Be creative and work hard.
- Be proactive in staying busy during down times.
Pay depends on experience and availability.
