Job Title: Cancer Client Specialist & Administrative Support
Hours: 30-34 hours
Wage: $18.00
Overview:
The Cancer Client Specialist & Administrative Support will manage the intake and support of new clients seeking assistance through financial aid, nutritional guidance, educational resources, and referral services. This role includes managing agency-wide incoming and outgoing bills, performing various administrative tasks, and assisting with fundraising efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Intake and Support:
- Manage each client's intake forms and maintain positive client relationships, addressing calls and questions as needed.
Financial Management:
- Record and manage incoming and outgoing bills for the entire agency.
- Ensure accurate financial documentation and reporting, including monthly checks for all clients.
- Maintain financial records using QuickBooks.
- Code incoming client documentation as part of the financial reimbursement program.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Enter client information into databases and manage a variety of Excel spreadsheets.
- Must be proficient in Excel.
- Maintain detailed statistics on client intake, services provided, and program outcomes.
- Prepare regular reports for the Executive Director.
Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain organized records and files for client services and agency operations.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings and events.
- Handle phone inquiries and respond professionally.
Team Support:
- Assist with fundraising and outreach preparations as needed.
- Attend and participate in fundraising and outreach events as needed.
- Perform any other tasks as directed by the Executive Director.
- Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required for outreach events
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
- Strong multi-tasking abilities with great attention to detail.
- Experience in client services and administrative tasks, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks is required.
- Ability to work well with interruptions and maintain precision in data entry.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data management systems.
- Must be proficient in Excel.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
