POSITION: MATH INSTRUCTOR Contract Length: 184 Days (Salary) Reports to: ACCA Superintendent
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports the mission, vision, and values of Ashland County Community Academy
Fosters an environment and culture which promotes respect, responsibility, trust, and success
Teaches and instructs students, with multiple preps, as assigned by the Superintendent
Proficient Depth of Knowledge in Content Area as well as in Learner-Centered Curriculum Design and Instruction
Exhibits Effective Classroom Management
Timely Lesson Planning, Progress Reports, Grading, as well as Online Grading
Delivers Effective and Differentiated Instruction, in relation to the school's education plan
Continuous and productive communication with parents and students regarding progress/behavior, including conferences
Inclusion of social-emotional learning within the classroom, periodically
Inclusion of literacy in content, each grading period, to promote school-wide literacy
Participates in school-wide incentives, programs, and extracurricular activities
Participates in Continuing Education Courses and/or Professional Development, as assigned by Superintendent
Assumes such other responsibilities and performs other duties as may be assigned by the Superintendent
Salary : $40,000 - $58,000
