Diesel Truck Technician

Duties:
- Perform diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles to identify issues and make necessary repairs
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, and braking systems
- Use power tools and hand tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts
- Follow manufacturer's guidelines and service manuals to ensure proper repair procedures
- Test drive vehicles after repairs to ensure proper functionality
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Technician/Truck Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques
- Familiarity with dealership service procedures and standards
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for vehicle repairs
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Experience with air brake systems is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
