Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain CNC programs for precision computer equipment.
- Maintain existing databases, routings, and drawings to ensure current revision levels.
- Program precision computer equipment according to job specifications.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in producing technical plans, blueprints, and models. They will also be able to analyze job orders, drawings, and specifications to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates.
This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with supervisors, senior managers, and employees. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC programming and a strong background in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Requirements:
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three years of experience as a CNC Machinist.
- PLC programming preferred, Mastercam experience a plus.
