Ashland Foundry & Machine Works LLC seeks an experienced welder specialist for its production team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and layout details and development of sheet metal and boiler plate work.
- Cut or sheer, band, roll, and form variously shaped parts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
TWO to FOUR years of experience in welding.
Knowledge of shop arithmetic and use of scales, protractors, squares, precision measuring instruments.
Physical Demands:
Moderately heavy work involving frequent lifting and handling of medium castings.
Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
Working Conditions:
Noisy environment with exposure to dust, flying chips, heat, and some fumes.
Required to wear a welding mask and follow proper safety procedures.
