- Determine current and voltage settings, electrode type, and size for arc welding.
- Exercise considerable judgment in the heat treating of various metals for specific use.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Two to four years in welding experience.
Understanding of basic to complicated drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of arc and gas welding principles and methods.
Training equivalent to partial high school plus about 2-3 years of apprenticeship or trade training.
