DESCRIPTION OF BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under direction, oversee, coordinate, and participate in the creation of needed production orders and carrying out of that needed production to meet our time commitments. This job classification exercises responsibility for understanding and organizing efficient flow and priority of what is needing produced; also, for providing direction to staff involved in production activities and operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Ability to follow and champion all Ashland Water Group company standards, policies and procedures
· Inspects and checks items produced on any build line at AWG and reports discrepancies to appropriate authority
· Create and process production orders and picks in NAV (Microsoft Business Central) using the handheld or computer.
· Maintains stock control of parts and materials with accuracy
· Ensure all created production orders are created and completed properly and in a timely manner
· Directs and assists in periodic and annual inventories of all supplies and materials as assigned
· Directs and participates in building and creating product for sale.
· Makes recommendations regarding production procedures and needs to enhance efficiency
· Oversees training and execution of staff in proper picking/building procedures
· Operates and trains staff in the safe and proper operation of warehouse equipment and tools
· Basic skills in computer operation and NAV execution
· Ability to lift up to 50lbs, more with assistance
· Other duties as assigned Ashland Water Group
JOB TASKS:
· Participates in all facets of production and operations activities
· Assists Supervisor with various activities related to receiving operations
· Convey a positive attitude that finds a way over hurdles instead of only identifying them
· Maintains cleanliness and safety in the warehouse (Production Area) and assists in developing training where needed
· Operates and oversees the training of the staff in the safe and proper operation of receiving equipment, tools and procedures
· Makes recommendations regarding build procedures and needs
· Manage the team to achieve timely results and initiates plans to obtain these results when gaps exist

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
