What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Interior Designer position at Ashleigh Clark Interior Design Group?
Work directly principal and lead designer to organize, implement and manage all aspects of the design process, including, but not limited to:
Creating and maintaining project documents, presentations, schedules, proposals, quotes, etc (Adobe InDesign)
Sourcing and pricing
Client and vendor communication
Accepting deliveries at studio and on site
Assist in producing construction documents, floor plans and elevations (Chief Architect)
Attend client meetings, site visits, trade days, selection days and more
Assist in organizing studio and materials
Project management on all new construction and remodel projects
Serving in a general support capacity throughout each project with the management of client and construction binders, budgets and drawings
This is a contract position for the first 90 days that is to develop into a full-time position.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years professional experience in interior design
- Strong FF&E knowledge, familiarity with specifying hard and soft finishes
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite & Autodesk, Chief Architect is a bonus as you will need to learn this software within the first 90 days
- Strong attention to detail regarding design, communication and project execution
- Ability to adhere to schedules and deadlines on multiple concurrent projects while producing high quality, accurate work
