Job Description & Responsibilities :
- Under general supervision, develops engineering changes and engineering drawings for complex equipment with minimal design requirements and instructions.
- Applies sound engineering design logic and judgement to create innovative solutions to design problems.
- Expert in creating proper part CAD models.
- Creates product structures in PDM systems.
- Proficient in the preparation of complex design layouts and/or schematics based on rough sketches or instructions from engineering personnel with some latitude for independent design judgement.
- Responsible for drafting quality in design documentation.
- Checks drawings of other design personnel for completeness and accuracy as required.
- Aware of tolerance requirements for proper function of equipment.
- Performs tolerance studies on tools for proper function of equipment.
- Utilizes and exchanges expertise of the materials and methods.
- Applies expertise of manufacturing, production processes, operations, and maintenance practices to designs. Incorporates reliability, HSE and Quality analysis techniques during the design process.
- Job tasks impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.

- AutoCAD - drafting/design
