Delivery Driver/Warehouse

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Delivery Driver/warehouse

Primary Function(s):- Maintain a positive and kind attitude while servicing customers

• Handle, load, transport, unload, set-up and assemble product during the entire delivery process
• Safely and legally perform all driving tasks
• Ensure furniture is safely delivered without blemishes or damages
• Perform accurate route check downs and load outs of product assigned for specified route
• Maintain communication with DC staff and management regarding any delivery variances
• Lead verbal communication while in the customers home
• Maintain a sense of speed and urgency
• Maintain a clean and organized cab, trailer, tool kit and load out area
• Train/Lead driver assistant on daily procedures and processs
• Core Functional Goal:
• Lead the delivery process by safely and efficiently delivering furniture in a professional manner that results in 100% first time completion of all items and provides the customers with an unmatched experience

Success in this position requires:

Must have a valid drivers license

Maintaining current medical card

Complying with all DOT regulations regarding safe and legal operation of a delivery truck

Performing all job duties in a safe and professional manner

Maintaining excellent attendance

Implementing the company mission statement and core values

Maintaining a clean and organized work environment: cab, trailer, tool kit, etc

Maintaining a professional appearance

Physical strength and stamina

Strictly following all standard operating procedures regarding delivery and variance issues

Excellent communication skills

Performing minor repairs

Maintaining a sense of speed and urgency

Following and remaining compliant with all policy

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
