Retail Sales Associate Part-Time or Full-Time
The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for generating sales via superior customer service and excellent product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities of a Retail Sales Associate include but are not limited to:
- Interacting with customers in a retail environment
- Demonstrating a high level of product knowledge and design skills
- Maintaining knowledge of competitive offerings in the market
- Determining needs and advising customers on their purchases
- Assisting customers through direct action or by supporting coworkers
- Demonstrating effective closing skills
- Accurately entering information in the point of sale system
- Handling customer purchase paperwork and tracking orders
- Communicating with customers after the sale
- Working with team members to utilize varied skill sets in order to provide exceptional service
- Contributing to the team and communicating effectively with other employees to attain goals
- Helping to maintain a clean, orderly working environment including price tags, floor resets, inventory review and restocking merchandise
- Must be available to work opening & closing shifts, holidays and weekends
- Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic math and technology skills
- Knowledge of interior design and effective sales techniques
- Minimum 6 months sales or hospitality related experience required
- Must have a cheerful, friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- Desire to succeed and to excel
- Computer knowledge
Reports to: Sales Manager/Assistant Store Manager/Store Manager

Pay: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
