Customer Advocate
Ashley Furniture of Salem, operated by the Kelly family (who has been serving Salem and other communities along the I5 corridor since 1974), is seeking a motivated, experienced, professional Customer Service Agent to join our amazing team of employees at our Salem location.
NOTE: this is not an entry level role. The Customer Advocate will often be involved in the handling of customer service matters that were not able to be resolved by other staff.
Shift (4, 10s): Tuesday Wednesday Friday Saturday (8am - 7pm, with an hour lunch)
Duties:
- Help with customer service, particularly escalations that cannot be resolved by sales staff
- Schedule delivery of product for customers
- Help set up service calls (when furniture needs repair)
- Listen to clients and try to find solutions for the issue at hand
- Help with clerical roles of tracking customer orders and inventory
- GOAL: teaming with other staff leadership, deliver the customer world-class service such that they will tell their friends and family to shop with us

- Able to pass pre-hire criminal background check and drug screen
Preferred Requirements
- Retail, customer service experience
- Receptionist experience
- Degree in related field
