Job Title: Retail Sales Associate
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Ashley Furniture. For over 75 years, we have been the largest home furnishings manufacturer, transforming homes worldwide.
Purpose at Ashley
As a Retail Sales Associate, you will transform store guests into loyal customers by guiding them through their shopping experience and creating inspiration for Ashley's products. You will help our guests discover the styles that reflect their lives and design rooms they will love to live in.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver world-class service and delight our guests by maintaining a welcoming, professional presence at the front desk and engaging with guests in a cordial and respectful manner.
- Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, adhering to cash handling protocols and maintaining thorough documentation of sales transactions.
- Aid customers with credit applications and financing matters as required.
- Address customer concerns independently whenever possible and support inventory management and loss prevention procedures.
- Meet and exceed sales goals, align to KPIs and performance standards, and complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Legally authorized to work in the US.
- At least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 lbs with or without accommodation.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; 1 year customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
- Outgoing, friendly, and easy to talk to, with the ability to convey information in a way that inspires action.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and maintain reliable attendance.
Compensation and Benefits:
This position pays an hourly rate of $16.66 to $16.66, with opportunities to earn weekly and monthly incentives based on sales.
