Supervisor Delivery Retail Distribution Center

Summary

The RDC Operations Supervisor directly oversees the daily operations of the warehouse, leading teams to achieve key goals in productivity, quality, and safety. This position ensures the efficient execution of warehouse processes while maintaining strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards. As the first-line leader, the supervisor is responsible for managing team performance, promoting safety compliance, and driving operational excellence, ensuring the smooth flow of daily activities and optimal resource utilization.

Primary Job Functions

• Supervise and provide leadership to department associates, ensuring adherence to procedures, safety protocols, and performance expectations.

• Train and develop team members, enhancing their skills and knowledge for continuous improvement.

• Motivate and coach team members to achieve and exceed performance goals while maintaining high morale.

• Manage attendance, time-keeping, and daily staffing requirements to ensure optimal team performance.

• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, performance updates, and operational changes.

• Implement daily operational plans to meet and exceed productivity and quality targets.

• Oversee the efficient execution of work assignments, adjusting to meet fluctuating business needs.

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations within the department.

• Conduct daily safety inspections and document any issues or concerns.

• Immediately address safety concerns to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

• Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety-related equipment.

• Document all incidents and accidents in accordance with company policy and regulatory standards.

• Lead safety meetings and provide ongoing safety training to team members.

• Conduct inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and handling procedures are followed.

• Identify, document, and report any product damage, defects, or quality issues.

• Ensure products are properly packaged and protected in compliance with packaging standards.

• Validate the accuracy of shipping and receiving documentation

• Monitor team members to ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control processes.

• Complete and maintain all required operational reports and documentation in a timely manner.

• Track and report on key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.

• Maintain accurate employee records, including attendance, performance, and safety data.

• Process daily paperwork related to shipments, deliveries, and inventory transactions.

• Assist in periodic inventory reconciliation, ensuring accurate inventory counts.

• Demonstrate the Company's Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions.

Education:

• High School, Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• 1-2 Years warehouse experience
