Ashley Hall, a private school in downtown Charleston, S.C. is seeking a Bus Driver for Extracurricular / Athletic Activities with a flexible schedule to join our team!

Responsibilities :

Drives school bus / s for the purpose of transporting passengers over scheduled routes to and from school and / or field trips / activities in a safe and timely manner
Monitors students and other passengers during transit for the purpose of ensuring the safe transportation of all passengers
Advises students and other passengers of appropriate behavior for the purpose of reinforcing established guidelines and maintaining passenger safety
Assists students and other passengers for the purpose of providing safe loading and unloading from buses during normal transport and emergency situations

Qualifications :

Candidates must hold a valid CDL license with Passenger Endorsement and have a clean driving record

2-5 years of experience in the bus industry preferably in a post-secondary institution

Demonstrate professionalism and appropriate judgment in behavior, speech, and dress in a neat, clean and professional manner for the assignment and work setting

Must be able to pass a drug test and background check

Additional Information :

Candidates must be available 7 days a week as some extracurricular trips require transportation on Saturday and Sunday. Times vary are typically between 5 : 30 am - 8 : 00 pm

Trips during the day the weekday varies on timing and could be up to two activity trips a day
