What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Warehouse Associate position at ASHLEY HOMESTORE?
The ideal candidate would be available to work 2 weekdays and every other Saturday. This is a part time position that requires 10-15 hours of assembly and warehouse work. The essential functions of the position require strength, attention to detail, and communication skills. All warehouse employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the job—with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work a flexible schedule Must have the ability to regularly and repetitively lift, pull and push 50 pounds, reach and lift above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend, and reach. On occasional 100 pounds. Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to: Loading and set-up of customer orders Treating each customer, their property, and their items with utmost respect. Inspection of each piece of furniture before delivery of item into customer's home. Set up and delivery of items per customer and factory specifications. Notification to store of any discrepancies in regard to customer order or request that are not noted on delivery receipt. Referral to any questions concerning customer items or construction to store personnel. Reporting: The Warehouse personnel directly reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and indirectly to the Store Manager or General Manager/Owner.
