Retail Sales Supervisor, you will be actively engaged on the sales floor, promoting customer interaction and driving sales. In addition to coaching and developing Sales Consultants to help them achieve store goals, you will also have your own individual sales targets. You will collaborate with the General Sales Manager to gain insight into all areas of the business while maintaining the company's core values and Ashley standards.

We are committed to providing generous and competitive monthly incentive opportunities to our employees as well as an hourly rate. Our Retail Sales Supervisors have the potential to earn between $55,000 and $100,000 annually, based on performance.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the General Sales Manager to oversee and manage all areas within the Showroom, ensuring smooth operations.
- Assist Sales Consultants in closing sales by providing guidance, support, ands strategic advice to ensure successful customer transactions.
- Monitor and drive sales performance, including margins, volume, quotas, and closing ratios.
- Develop and implement short- and long-term goals for the showroom’s success.
- Address and resolve customer-related issues escalated beyond the Customer Service Lead.
- Collaborate with the Visual Merchandiser Manager to ensure optimal product placement and presentation.
- Communicate changes in company policies and relevant information to the staff.
- Provide exceptional leadership and guidance to the sales, guest experience, and visual teams.
- Coach staff members to foster individual growth and team success in a professional manner.
- Manage administrative costs within budget, including wages and supplies.
- Conduct performance audits and provide additional support or training when needed.
- Ensure thorough documentation of completed procedures and tasks.
- Complete various reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Recruit, train, and coach the sales team to meet and exceed performance expectations.
- Prepare and administer performance evaluations for assigned team members.
- Foster effective and timely communication across the team and with upper management.
Qualifications
Requirements
• A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in retail sales management, preferably in a commissioned based sales environment
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to learn in-house computer programs
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and travel to other local store locations as needed
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge and experience in team building skills
