Merchandise Coordinator, Bedding – Onsite: Tampa, FL
What Will You Do?
The Merchandising Coordinator works to support the Merchandising Manager in driving the business. The Merchandising Coordinator will assist the team where needed. This role is responsible for helping to execute merchandising strategies.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of merchandising strategies
- Support the development and maintenance of product assortments
- Analyze sales data and prepare regular reports on merchandise performance
- Maintain accurate product information in company systems
- Assist with quarterly merchandise transitions and promotional activities
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to maintain order management processes
- Support the creation and maintenance of merchandising documentation
- Support Merchandise Manager in administrative tasks
- Demonstrates the Company’s Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions.
- Actively participate in departmental and vendor meetings. Assist with training other employees and providing backup.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Merchandising or related field or equivalent work experience, Required
- 1 year of experience in Merchandising, Required
- Flawless execution and excellent attention to detail
- Strong project management and presentation skills
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraints
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, internet, Power point, Sharepoint
- Strong skills in agility, along with the ability to pivot easily when directions and priorities changes on short notice
- Perform under strong demands in a fast-paced environment
- Work professionally with store managers, visuals, and co-workers to efficiently serve our customers, treating both with enthusiasm and respect
- Excellent interpersonal skills, time management and organizational skills
- Work independently as well as in a team environment
- Document management system
- Analytical and problem solving skills. Strong attention to detail
