Seeking Caring In-Home Caregiver for Elderly Loved One
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide loving care for our elderly mother in her apartment. This is a part-time position primarily focused on morning care (7:00 AM - 11:00 AM), Monday-Friday. We are also looking for someone who can occasionally fill in for other family members when needed. We offer a higher-than-average hourly rate.
- Morning Care: Assist with personal care, including:
- Preparing and serving breakfast
- Administering medications as directed
- Assisting with dressing and hygiene (occasional shower assistance)
- Light Housekeeping:
- Laundry
- Bed linen changes
- General tidying
- Meal Preparation: Prepare simple lunches
- Companionship: Engage in conversation, read, or watch TV with our mother.
- Errands: Occasional light shopping or errands.
Our mother has severe aortic valve deterioration, which limits her energy levels. She is mostly bedridden but enjoys sitting in a chair and uses a walker to get to the bathroom. She is friendly and enjoys company but has lived independently for most of her life.
Qualifications:

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
