Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various construction tasks, ensuring that projects run smoothly and efficiently. Duties
- Assist skilled tradespeople in various construction activities, including carpentry, masonry, and plumbing tasks.
- Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks and transport them to job sites.
- Prepare job sites by cleaning up debris, setting up scaffolding, and ensuring all tools are organized and accessible.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely under supervision.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform general labor tasks such as digging trenches, mixing concrete, and assisting with demolition work as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and work as part of a team.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
