What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant Operation Tech - Part Time position at Ashley Regional Medical Center?
Plant Operations Tech is responsible for outdoor grounds maintenance, preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, systems and structures throughout the facility.
Part time position. Week day hours. Required to take call on rotating nights and weekends. Paid time off, insurance and retirement benefits are available.
- Under supervision repairs and maintains hospital buildings, grounds, and equipment.
- Installs, tests, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, and systems as scheduled or needed.
- Performs utility and structural repairs as needed, in collaboration with internal/external tradespersons.
- Inspects, tests, and maintains records for all fire risers, sprinklers, extinguishers, fire doors, and other fire/safety related equipment and systems.
- Outdoor grounds maintenance.
- Moves items within/between locations and from/to storage.

Previous maintenance and grounds experience preferred- Experience with healthcare guidelines preferred
